Our Mission

St. Mark’s Lutheran School exists to challenge and enable young people to grow in both Christian faith and wisdom, as well as, in academic knowledge, and to prepare them with the help of the Holy Spirit to believe in Jesus as their Savior and tell others about Him.

Our Vision

The importance of educational excellence and training for discipleship for each student is of paramount importance at St. Mark’s Lutheran School. The faculty of St. Mark’s is committed to the education of the whole child, teaching each child of the need for salvation through Jesus Christ. Instruction in all areas of the curriculum focuses on the reality of Law and Gospel through Jesus Christ’s love and forgiveness for us, as taught in the inerrant Word of God. Students are challenged academically and are given a spiritual foundation for life as they are taught the inerrant Word of God, according to the confessions and teachings of the Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod. The school regularly evaluates and adjusts the curriculum to meet each child’s physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. We know that without God’s continual guidance we can accomplish nothing, and we lean on Him for all things.
